Thrift shopping is a great alternative to buying new things. In most cases, you can find good quality second-hand stuff really cheap.

In Nablus, there’s a special market for second-hand shopping called Souq Sharqi (السوق الشرقي) where you can find everything from used clothes and electronic appliances, to vintage furniture. Although the Souq is quite messy, you can find nice things if you look carefully.
